Monsters: Golems

Magically created automatons of great power, constructing a golem involves the employment of mighty magic and elemental forces. The animating force for a golem is an elemental spirit, while the process of creating the golem binds the spirit to the artificial body and subjects it to the will of the golem’s creator. Golems have immunity to most magical and supernatural effects and can only be hit by magical weapons:

Description: Crystal golems appear as hairless, androgynous humanoids but are rarely seen as it can cast invisibility spells upon itself. They are typicaly used by wizards and liches who require very discreet workers or guards and are programmed to do their work in complete silence. Crystal golems only suffer half damage from non-blunt weapons.

Description: Seemingly made from shards of broken glass, the mirror amalgamation is a bizarre type of golem that stands nearly 20 feet tall and is roughly humanoid in shape. While able to effectively slice and dice its opponents at will, the mirror-like properties of the monster also cause half of all damage sustained to be redirected at its attackers as well. Like bronze golems, they have immunity to most magical effects and can only be hit by magical weapons.
